PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrasonic motor in which the pressure distribution can be kept constant at all times between the rotor and stator, regardless of fluctuation in the rectangularity and planarity of each plane of a component. CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic motor comprises means 17 for moving a stator 16 in the axial direction of a rotor 4 but locking the stator 16 in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the rotor 4. Consequently, when the rotor 4 inclines to start rotation, the stator 16 follows up the rotor 4 to incline. |
