PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input character converting method and portable communication equipment in which the conversion character candidates of a KANA character being inputted can be known without moving the glance. SOLUTION: In the input character converting method for displaying the list of conversion character candidates of a prescribed number of KANA characters as predictive candidates in response to the input of the KANA characters, the display mode of the KANA character being inputted is changed into different display mode, when the predictive candidates exist. |
