<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode, enabling manufacture of a nickel.hydrogen secondary battery having satisfactory heavy-current service capacity maintaining rate, self-discharge characteristic and cycle life time by using a collector base which is manufacturable at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the positive electrode for nickel.hydrogen secondary battery, a positive electrode mix, containing a positive electrode active material and a binder, is supported on the collector base with a burr portion formed on the surface thereof. The positive electrode mix contains nickel flakes with a length which is 2-7 times the average particle diameter of the positive electrode positive material and with an aspect ratio, indicated by length/breadth of 20 or less in a rate of 1-15 with respect to 100 mass parts of positive electrode active material.</p> |
