PURPOSE: To obtain the color proof improved in the approximation of its image quality to that of a print as an image having a stable tone. CONSTITUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has at least each one of yellow, magenta, and cyan image forming silver halide emulsion (Y, M, C emulsion) layers, and one of yellow, magenta, and cyan image forming layers contains a fourth silver halide emulsion (S emulsion), and the spectral sensitivity distribution of any of Y, M, C, and S emulsions has a spectral sensitivity region at least 6 times higher than that of the other 3 emulsions, and the density share of the S emulsion after development is >=0.7.
