PURPOSE: To totally standardize a format while utilizing attributes by providing a format setting means for interlocking the attributes stored in a storage means and simultaneously equally setting the formats of desired plural document data. CONSTITUTION: Format interlock information is set to area data parts 20, 23 and 24, any area data part to be a reference such as the data part 20, for example, is decided, and a nominating command for nominating the data part 20 is inputted from an input part 11 and sent to a through an input control part 12 to a main control part 13. The main control part 13 arithmetically processes this nominating command, sends it to a man-machine interface 15 and nominates the data part 20 of an area data buffer 16. After this nomination, that information is sent to an area data control part 14 and the control part 14 retrieves the other area data part 23 and 24 at which the format interlock information is set. Then, the format of the data part 20 to be the reference such as the size of character for five points, character interval for 1/8 and describing method for lateral write, for example, is set to these all the other retrieved data parts 23 and 24. |
