PURPOSE: To provide a magnet roll designed to allow determining of a magnetic pole position and the angular accuracy of the reference plane of an arbor by a simple method and a process for producing the roll. CONSTITUTION: This magnet roll is used for a developing device, etc., of an electrophotographic process and is formed by using a round shaft for the arbor 2 of the magnet roll 1 regulated with the reference plane of the arbor 2 and the angle of the magnetic pole. The shaft 2 has a positioning member 3 for determining the angle with the magnetic pole. This process for producing the magnet roll comprises joining the positioning member 3 to the shaft 2 in compliance with the magnetic pole angle of the magnet part 1, then assembling a sleeve 4, etc. Then, the magnet roll is constituted by using the round shaft for the arbor 2 and joining the positioning member 3 to the round shaft 2 and, therefore, the easy integral extrusion molding of the arbor is made possible and the production efficiency is enhanced. |
