PURPOSE: To provide a soil purification method and apparatus which can purify soil effectively at an original position. CONSTITUTION: An excavation hole is dug so as to over the depth from the ground surfaces to a polluted area CA in which soil G containing pollutants exists, and a purifying agent J for decomposing the pollutants is injected into the soil G, CA containing the pollutants through an injection monitor M placed in the hole, and the depth of the monitor M is changed while being rotated.
