PURPOSE: To significantly reduce the drive loss in an arbitrary resonance converter having a pseudo-sinusoidal current by substantially equalizing the frequency of an oscillator to that of a circuit having the secondary inductance of a transformer and the load capacitance. CONSTITUTION: A transistor has a drain-source capacitance, forming the input capacitor of switches S1, S2. When the switches S1, S2 are not an FET having the drain-source capacitance, low-voltage capacitors C1, C2 drive the switches S1, S2 with a signal of 50% duty ratio. In this case, an MOS interface circuit is arranged on the output side of a multivibrator. An oscillator OSC has a switching frequency which is the same as that selected for a converter having transistors SW1, SW2 forming the switch. |
