CONTROLLER CORRESPONDING TO ROAD STATE AHEAD OF AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE: To detect only a blind curve which can not be seen through as a target to be controlled or alarmed in respect to a controller corresponding to a road state ahead of an automobile which is suitable for the generation of an alarm to a driver on a vehicle going to enter a curve. CONSTITUTION: The controller is provided with a curve detecting means 20 for detecting a curve, a judging means for judging whether the speed of a vehicle going to enter the curve is too high or not and a nonconformance control means for generating an alarm or controlling the traveling state of the vehicle and the means 20 is provided with a blind curve judging means 24 for judging whether a detected curve is a blind curve or not and a controlled curve selecting means 25 for adopting the detected curve as a controlled curved only when the detected curve is a bind curve based upon information outputted from the means 24.
