<p>PURPOSE: To provide a technique of laying a submarine cable in which a cable can be laid in the accurate position of the sea-bottom by a simple device. CONSTITUTION: This submarine cable laying device has a gate frame 18 installed so as to sit astride a pipeline 14 and slid along the pipeline 14 by pulling, a guiding body 19 integratedly mounted to the gate frame 18 for guiding a cable 11 continuously dram out of the sea-top toward the side of the pipeline 14 and a plurality of nozzles 24 disposed on the advancing side of the gate frame 18 for jetting out high-pressure water toward the advancing side of the gate frame 18.</p> |
