PURPOSE: To prevent a lamp tool for a vehicle from generating dew condensation to impair quality feeling when it is turned on at the time of a rainfall by providing a moisture-proof container constituted of a moisture absorbent storage chamber section and a water storage chamber section on the lamp tool for a vehicle having an air vent in a sealed lamp chamber. CONSTITUTION: The outside air is sucked into a lamp chamber 4 from an air vent 7 in the process from the on of a light source 5 to the off when the outside air has high humidity. The calcium chloride 11a stored in the moisture absorbent storage chamber section 11 of a moisture-proof container 10 communicated via a communication section 13 absorbs moisture. The generation of dew condensation can be prevented when a lens 2 is quickly cooled at the time of car washing. The calcium chloride 11a deliquesces when the moisture absorbed amount is increased, and it drips into a water storage chamber section 12 provided in the gravitational direction through the mesh of a partition plate 14 and is held there. The water storage chamber section 12 is made translucent, or scale lines are provided on it. When the water level of the water storage chamber section 12 reaches a certain value or above, the moisture-proof container 10 is replaced, and the function can be recovered. |
