PURPOSE: To provide excellent heat resistance and oil resistance with high mechanical properties maintained by utilizing polyphenyl sulfone resin as a base material and containing a particular amount of reinforcing fiber. CONSTITUTION: As polyphenyl sulfone resin, for example, RADELR-5000 or the like may be preferably used. As a compounding ingredient which may be contained in the polyphenyl sulfone resin, for example, reinforcing fiber or the like such as glass fiber is recommended. It is desirable that the content of the reinforcing fiber should be 10-35weight%. This retainer 1 for anti-friction bearing is manufactured by molten-kneading a material where polyphenyl sulfone resin and the compounding ingredient are combined, forming it into a shape like a pellet, and molding it by means of injection molding or the like. It is thus possible to provide excellent impact resistance, especially, and make a wide application to a high-speed rotating shaft and so on. |
