PURPOSE: To provide a glass run mounting structure in a vehicular door, allowing a glass run to be properly laid within a door body without any need of cutting a part of the run. CONSTITUTION: The clamping section 15 of the core material 13 of a glass run 10 is fitted to the end 26a of the inner side section 26 of a support 28 connected to a door inner panel 2 within a door body, in such a state as clamping the section 26. Also, the outer side section 27 of the support 28 is externally kept in contact with a holding section 16. As a result, the core material 13 is kept clamped between the sections 27 and 26 and, therefore, the glass run 10 is kept in a properly fitted condition in the door body. According to this construction, the core material 13 does not need any welded fitting for mounting the glass run 10, and a part thereof does not need to be cut, thereby improving work efficiency. |
