PURPOSE: To improve efficiency by providing an electromagnetic field coil in a high speed centrifugal separator and using rotational ion-exchange resin for ionization action. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic field coil 24 is fixed to an inner circumference iron cylindrical part, which contacts seawater, of a high speed centrifugal separator and also an electromagnetic field coil is mounted on a central rotation axis 21 to form an electromagnetic field shaft 8, and further ion-exchange resins are formed into a basket-shaped vessel and an electromagnetic field is formed in a solution to generate electromotive force in the ion-exchange resins. As a result, power is needed only for the electromagnetic field coil and a high speed motor and hence cost can be reduced. Efficiency can be easily obtained depending upon the capacity of the ion-exchange resins, and manufacturing and maintenance can be simplified. |
