PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device having a switch being excellent in operating feeling. CONSTITUTION: A face-shaped switch 33 is provided in an air-bag device 14 attached to the steering wheel of an automobile, and arranged between a hard inner body 31 to cover the folded up air-bag 24 and a cover body 34 to cover the inner body 31, and fixed to the upper face of the inner body 31. A pair of a front and a rear door piece part 55 to develop at the time of expansion of the air-bag 24 are formed on the upper face of the inner body 31. The door piece part 55 is formed into a wave-shape in section. The face-shaped switch 33 can be therefore surely closed for improving its operating feeling, and the development of the air-bag 24 can be smooth.
