PURPOSE: To simply obtain a flat round grain useful as a food or a medicine by installing a forming plate reciprocating in the direction perpendicular to the revolving direction of a drum, in parallel with the drum and making the reciprocation of the forming plate at a specific speed based on the revolution speed of the drum. CONSTITUTION: In a device consisting of a revolving drum 1 and a forming plate 2 reciprocating perpendicularly to the revolution direction of the drum 1, the forming plate 2 is installed in parallel with the drum 1, and the speed of the reciprocation of the forming plate is 20-40 % the revolving speed of the drum 1. A raw material which is obtained by straining paste of pickled plum pulp, mixing the strained paste of pickled plum pulp with powder of pickled plum pulp and made into a chip shape such as chips of paste of pickled plum pulp is fed to a space between the rotary drum and the forming plate to give the objective flat round grain 3 useful as a tablet for a food, a functional food and a medicine. |
