PURPOSE: To make it possible to increase the width of images to be observed and to expand a stereoscopic viewing region regardless of the number (n) of images without the occurrence of eclipse. CONSTITUTION: This three-dimensional display device obtains stereoscopic images by having a lenticular lens sheet 1, dividing respective n(n>=2) pieces of parallax images from different viewing points to rectangular strip shapes to form plural linear images and successively arranging the bundles of the linear images consisting of the linear images obtd. by bundling the corresponding liner images constituting the respective parallax images on the linear image display surface 2 of the lenticular lens sheet 1. The device described above is so constituted that the width Pa of the bundles of the linear images is different from the pitch width P of the lenticular lenses. The respective bundles of the linear images are closely arranged. This arrangement is so set that the central positions of the pitch width P and the width Pa shift according to the differences between P and Pa nearer the periphery of the display images. |
