Odour-trap for waterless or low-flush urinal

A urinal has an odour lock with a mug-shaped housing (37) and a collector basin (3) forming an inlet (6). The housing incorporates a siphon (17) that prevents passage of gas from an outlet (21) to the inlet (6). A fragrant agent is inserted (11) below the inlet (6) within an essentially dry zone on top of a sieve (16). Air rising through the siphon (17) flushes around the fragrant insert and picks up the aroma. The fragrant insert is located under the cover (10) and may be exchanged with the siphon.
