PURPOSE: To enable the confirmation of all operations including those of a plurality of discharge means by selecting the plurality of discharge means sequentially by one-time test print command. CONSTITUTION: Size 1 paper is set in a supply means 1 (T6) of a paper supply means, and size 2 paper is set in a supply means 2 (T7) thereof. In a paper discharge means, size 1 paper, size 3 paper, and size 2 paper can be discharged into a discharge means 1 (T1), a discharge means 2 (T2), and a discharge means 3 (T3), respectively. In this condition, paper supply means (one of T6 to T7) and discharge means (one of T1 to T3) are selected due to external control to start print sequence. When an internal pattern generator (T5) is set to ON, paper is supplied from the selected supply means, a test pattern is printed on it in a test pattern printing section (T4), and it is discharged into the selected discharge means. |
