PURPOSE: To quickly manage the judgment of burglary with the prevention of the wrong judgment of burglary. CONSTITUTION: An engine controller judges whether a battery 21 deteriorates or not on the lowered quantity of battery voltage, and the execution timing of burglary judgment processing is changed over as follows according to the result of judgment. Namely, in the case where the battery has deteriorated, the lowering rate of the battery voltage at the time of the starting of an engine is large, and since the battery voltage may be lower than the normal working voltage of the engine controller 17, the burglary judgment processing is prolonged until the completion of engine starting. After the engine starts, the battery voltage is restored, and wrong judgment can therefore be prevented. On the other hand, in the case where the battery 21 does not deteriorate, the lowering rate of the battery voltage at the time of the starting of the engine is smaller than that in the case of deterioration, and the normal working voltage of the engine controller 17 can be secured during starting the engine, and the burglary judgment processing is therefore instantly executed before the completion of engine starting at the time of engine starting operation. |
