PURPOSE: To provide a three-dimensional(3D) graphic plotting device capable of reducing the size of a (z) buffer normally requiring about 20 bits per pixel and attaining (z) buffer algorithm by a memory with small capacity. CONSTITUTION: In the 3D graphic plotting device for executing implicit-surface elimination processing by comparing the depth information of a graphic in displaying which is stored in the (z) buffer with the depth information of a graphic to be newly displayed, storing the depth information of graphic data having the depth information more close to a visual point in the (z) buffer and displaying the graphic data, the (z) buffer memory is constituted of a (z) lookup table 19 for storing real depth information and a false (z) butter 17 for storing an address to be stored in the table 19 by each pixel. |
