The wet paper web (1a) enters the space through an opening in one end of the casing (13), runs over pref. heated cylinders (2a, 2b) and emerges from the space through opening(s) in the casing other end. The paper web (1a, 1b) is pressed against cylinder textile strip(s) (2a, 2b) by a (3a, 3b) running over the cylinder(s) and spatial roller(s) (4a, 4b). Air is blown through a blowing unit (5) against the contact part(s) of the textile strip in contact with the paper web and/or against the free part(s) of the textile strip not in contact with the paper web. A first group located nearest the casing dry end comprises at least a contact part and/or free part on which air is blown derived from outside the casing indoors or outdoors. The air has a higher temp. and/or lower humidity than the average conditions in the space in the casing. |
