On the surface (2) of the panel are a large number of colour points arranged in rows, where the points in each row have successively three basic colours for additive colour mixing or alternatively the three basic colours for subtractive colour mixing. A sheet fits over the surface which has a varying transparency for light in different areas. There areas correspond to each of the colour points, so that the varying transparency in conjunction with the points forms a picture in colour. |
