FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: composition has potassium hydroxide and (or) potassium carbonate and hard water (total hardness is 4-30 mg-equiv./l) and indicator for water color painting depending on pH value. Composition has the following ratio of components, wt.-%: potassium hydroxide 8.5-0.0; potassium carbonate 0.0-16.0, or potassium hydroxide 13.0; carbon dioxide 5.0; color indicator 0.006-0.042, and hard water - the rest.
