FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for increase of precision of measurement of level thanks to exception of effect of resistance of liquid unknown in advance on measurement result by usage of information redundancy. For achievement of specified task depth of submersion of electrodes is changed during second cycle. Level gauge realizing given method is supplemented with computer, two electrodes, power supply source and measuring instrument. Used electrodes are of same type.
