METHOD FOR PLASTIC RECONSTRUCTION OF PTERYGOID FOLD OF THE NECK

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming two triangular flaps having precisely defined vertices. One of them has vertices positioned at a point being 2-6 cm above the acromioclavicular articulation, at a point of contact of transposed pterygoid fold with the pathologic hair growth zone boundary and in the area of intersection of perpendicular drawn from this point to the line identifying the ridge of the pterygoid fold. The vertices of the second triangle are placed in a point on the posterior surface of the inferior boundary of the ear at the level of the mastoid process, at a point of intersection of a perpendicular drawn from the preceding vertex to the line identifying the ridge of the pterygoid fold and at a point being 1-3 cm distant from the mastoid process. Then, cicatricial tissues are dissected within the areas of the formed triangles. The triangles arisen in their peripheral area within the boundaries of the healthy tissues are separated and sutured in directions opposite to each other. EFFECT: lower traumatic consequences; retained hair; accelerated treatment course.
