FIELD: electrothermics. SUBSTANCE: device has adaptive gain-varying unit one of whose inputs is connected to output of comparison unit and other input, to output of three-phase rectifier of automatic parameter- setting unit, and its output is connected through power amplifier to electrode displacement actuating mechanism. In-service statistical analysis of melting period of proposed device has shown that dispersion of input power of device is 6.9 sq. MW, RMS deviation is 2.6 MW, variation factor is 7.4%, maximum active power utilization factor is 0.94. Specific power requirement for melting has reduced by 25-50 kW-h/t. EFFECT: improved control throughout entire variation range of furnace transformer secondary voltage. |
