METHOD FOR FORMATION OF HIGH BENCHES OF OPENCAST FLANK

FIELD: opencast mining. SUBSTANCE: method for formation of high benches of opencast flank includes formation of bench from two approximately equal sub-benches at angle of repose of about 50 deg. Safety platform is arranged in zone of seepage of ground water. Then, slopes are reinforced by hard rocks to arrange common generating line so that distance from the crest of lower subbench to generating line amounts to 0.5-0.6 m. EFFECT: higher reliability of bench stability.
