FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing freshly taken donor blood to defocussed helium neon laser radiation beam action. Erythrocyte membrane permeability values for potassium ions and hemoglobin are used as morphologic physiological parameters. To do it, potassium ion and hemoglobin contents in supernatant of washed erythrocytes is determined at the first, second, fourth and sixth day after irradiation took place. Blood laser irradiation causes potassium ions and hemoglobin discharge from erythrocytes to slow down. EFFECT: prolonged storage life of donor blood. |
