FIELD: irradiation STERILIZATION. SUBSTANCE: articles and materials are subjected to irradiation STERILIZATION by means of accelerated electrons beam. High-frequency electron accelerator and assembly for sweeping beam are mounted inside thick-walled metal container, which provides biological protection of staff. Object under STERILIZATION is introduced into container. Object moves during STERILIZATION at the direction being perpendicular to plane of beam sweep by means of unit for shifting object provided with multispeed drive. The unit performs supply of sterilizing object to radiation treatment area at higher speed. irradiation treatment is carried out at slower speed. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation. |
