FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: after examining the variability of quality of the salt and estimating the density of the exploration system, the drilling of the geological exploration bore holes, the in-layers sampling, and chemical analysis for conformity of the salt to the state standard 13830-91 are performed. Thereafter the cut is divided into the layers of the first-brand, second-brand salt, and substandard salt. Their reserves are estimated. The next step consists in selective removal of the second-brand salt using a combine followed by extracting the first-brand salt by way of undercutting. The first- and second-brand salt is adjusted to the standard granulation, and the substandard salt extracted is directed to the halurgy plant for producing the highest-quality food salt and the "Extra" salt. EFFECT: increased utilization degree of food salt resources. |
