摘要 FIELD: vacuum tubes. SUBSTANCE: device has vacuum-tight housing with gas-discharge areas which inner surface is plated by luminophor, and electrodes for initiating and keeping discharge. Housing is designed as support on which stem, electric terminals and shell which has two parts -- inner one for detection of discharge gaps and outer one which surface is plated by luminophor. Both parts are tightly joined by support. Inner part of shell has n1 elementary areas having arbitrary shape of discharge gap (most of them are cylindrical). n1 belongs to range of 1<=n1<=1000. Said areas are connected to one another in series tightly. Rate of maximal length L1 of line which joins centers of any two adjacent elementary areas to length L2 of maximal distance between points on surface of outer shell belongs to range of 1<= L1/L2<=1000. Overall space of discharge gap is separated into n2 autonomous discharge gaps by means of additional walls and electrodes, n2 belongs to range of 1<=n2<=10. Ratio of minimal distance L3 to maximal distance L4 between centers of walls belongs to range of 0.2<=L3/L4<=1. Ratio of minimal value S1 to maximal value S2 for areas of cross sections which run through centers of elementary areas belongs to range of 0.1<=S1/S2<=1. Inner surface of elementary areas is covered with luminophor areas and reflecting areas. Ratio of total area S3 of luminophor-covered areas to total area S4 of inner surface of elementary areas belongs to range of 0.005<=S3/S4<=0.9. Ratio of total area S5 of reflecting areas to S4 belongs to range of 0.1<= S5/S4<=0.8. Thin-film current-conducting resistors which are connected to in series are located on inner surface of elementary areas. Ratio of total area S6 of thin-film resistors to S4 belongs to range of 0.01<=S6/S4<=0.1. One end of control of current- conducting resistors is connected to electric terminal which is located in support. Outer part of shell has additional current- insulating vacuum-tight wall which prevents parasitic discharges between current-conducting electrodes. Outer part of shell is covered with dull surface areas and/or dissipating flanges and/or recesses. Ratio of their total area S7 to area S8 of outer surface of outer part of shell belongs to range of 0.1<=S7/S8<=3. Shell is also covered with parts of luminescent coating. Ratio of their total area S9 to S8 belongs to range of 1<= (S9+S8)/S8<= 2.
