The remote-controlled computer maintenance circuit has input (2) and output (3) terminals. The circuit includes a relay (1), an electronic signal analysis circuit (5,6,7), a logic control circuit (9), a release circuit (4), a supply switching circuit (10) and a connection box (11). The signal analysis circuit receives incoming signals and interprets the content of the incoming signal, delivering an appropriate output to the logic circuit. The logic circuit controls operation of the relay, controlling operation of the telephone connection and resetting and restarting of the computer program. Instructions are generated remotely by an oscillator that generates appropriate tones for transmission over the telephone system to control the programs.
