<p>A fender (10) for a rotating tire. The fender has a leading section (12) with parabolic shape vanes which control and discharge downwardly spray cast from the tire. A side shield (42) is spaced apart from the upper half of the tire. The shield has specially dimensional louvers which ensure that the flow rate of the air therethrough is uniform as discharged from the shield to cool the tire and brake assembly.</p> |
