<p>A color converting device wherein the output of a color converting circuit for a whole picture of the preceding stage is not affected by the output of a color converting circuit for a specific color of the succeeding stage. A first color converting circuit (10) performs first color conversion of the whole picture of picture data and a second color converting circuit (20) performs second color conversion of the area of a specific color by adding a correcting signal generated by multiplying the image data subjected to the first color conversion by a key signal (4) specifying the area of a specific color to the whole picture. A key signal generating circuit (30) generates the key signal (4) from the picture data supplied to the first color converting circuit (10).</p> |
