A three-dimensional (3D) imaging is performed by a camera using one objective lens and by specifically simulating the second camera, with the lateral picture element (pixel) displacement of the image of the second camera relative to the left ascertained from the angle of the optical axes of the cameras and the distance, the latter being determined from the sharpness of the picture element (pixel).
