<p>A long-lived carburized bearing steel that can provide bearing parts excellent in rolling fatigue resistance. The steel contains 0.1-0.35 % C, 0.3-2 % Mn, 0.001-0.03 % S, 0.4-1.5 % Cr, 0.01-0.07 % Al, 0.003-0.015 % N, and 0.0005-0.03 % T.Mg, further contains 0.35-1.70 % Si or a mixture thereof with 0.03-1.20 % Mo, optionally contains Ni and/or V each in a specified amount, contains P, Ti and T.O in amounts respectively limited to 0.025 % or less, 0.0050 % or less and 0.0020 % or less, and has a ratio of the number of the Mg oxide particles contained therein to the total number of the particles of 0.8 or above.</p> |
