The laminate mfg. process uses a pair of controlled laminating rollers for combining a thin adhesive-coated foil with individual or endless sheets (2) using a floating application pressure of between 10 and 50 N/cm. Pref. the foil is coated with UV hardened adhesive via a coating roller with a rotation rate which is matched to the lamination rate via a computer, supplied with the processing rate and the sheet length etc.
