<p>The object of the invention is to improve on a wiper for a lift-controlled windscreen wiper device intended in particular for a motor vehicle, with a connecting rod which is also a component of a multiple joint unit which effects lift control and on which a drive lever and a control lever are mounted so as to pivot. The proposed improvement is meant to ensure that the height of the wiper arm in the region of the multiple joint unit has a reduced height and can be manufactured inexpensively. The connecting rod (1) which is part of the wiper arm is made in the form of a moulded sheet metal unit and has a contoured cross section, which ensures that the drive lever (2) or the control lever (3) is connected to the connecting rod (1) so as to pivot within the height of the connecting rod cross section.</p> |
