The invention concerns an elastic-plastic element consisting of an isoprene-based matrix and at least one filler, the said element being suitable for filling root canals in humans or animals and characterised by the presence of calcium hydroxide incorporated in the matrix. The invention also concerns a method of manufacturing the proposed element.
