The section is composed of a middle tube section and end coupling flanges (3b). The coupling flanges have two bearing surfaces. The outer ones (6b) with welded-on supports (12b) fit over the ends (25) of a jacket tube (26). The internal split rings (7) in the coupling flanges are eccentric. The greater wall thickness lies in the zone facing the middle point (5) of the curve. An outer split dish (18) of cast iron and an inner one (23) of steel are fitted in the jacket tube. These extend between the coupling flanges. Their endfaces run in the central longitudinal plane (ME-ME) through the tube axis.
