Loudspeaker with conical reflector having median point of inflection e.g. for stereo audio equipment

Two loudspeakers (1,2) with transducers (3,4) of different frequency ranges are separately housed (5,7) and supported on struts (9) which also carry a double conical reflector (10) between the diaphragms (6,8) on a common axis (A). Each cone (11,12) has rotational symmetry about the axis and a transition (13,14) from concave to convex curvature which occurs at about half of the height of the cone. The concave portions may have approximately parabolic or hyperbolic cross-sections while the convex tips may be approximately spherical.
