The head (1) is fitted to a pressurised container, in order to discharge a fluid product. It has an outer nozzle (7) which can be sealed by an internal sliding element (8), which is in the form of a shaft. The shaft is connected to the nozzle by an elastic membrane (9), and these components enclose a space (15) which is connected to an outlet (13) of a valve (2) by at least one opening (14). During the delivery operation, the element is displaced from the mouth (12) of the nozzle, and on completion of the operation they are pressed against one another, in order to seal off the mouth opening (11).
