A process for the production of a motor/generator comprising an excitation component (1) and an armature component (2) each including at least one coil (6) with its support (5) and/or at least one magnetic strip (3). On an internal surface (9) of a support (7) of the excitation component (1) and on an external surface (15) of the armature (4), grooves (10, 16) should be inlaid or projections moulded parallel to the axis to hold the coil support (5) and/or magnetic strip (3).
