Robotic device for attaching profiled strip to edge of vehicle frame opening

The device has guides for the profiled strip and a swing head (4) set in motion by an electric motor (2) fixed on a console guided by a robot. The swing head (4) forms with a crank gearing a hammer tool (3) which is movable across the console (1) and can be tensioned by a tension device (5) in the direction of the strip which is to be fitted. The swing head is driven by a connecting rod from the crank shaft which is coupled to the motor by a clutch allowing restricted transverse displacement of the hammer tool relative to the motor. The tension device is formed by a bellows cylinder supported between console and hammer tool.
