<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read information of code symbols, wireless tags or the like, and to register commodities, while moving commodities for commodity registration, along an optical read section and a wireless tag read section. <P>SOLUTION: This commodity information registration device is disposed with the wireless tag reading part 21 reading the information of the wireless tag 32 storing commodity identification information, such as commodity code; the optical reading part 19 reading the code symbol 33, such as bar code recorded with the commodity identification information; a registration part 25 registering the information read from the wireless tag 32 and the code symbol 33; and a read area 44 of the wireless tag read part 21 and a read area of the optical read part 19 on a track along which the commodity 41 for commodity registration has moved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
