The proposal is for an arrangement of a sensor of an electrochemical measuring probe in a metal housing in which the sensor (13), in the form of a tube closed at one end with a metal sealing ring (18), bears on a sealing seat (16) formed on the housing (10). The sealing seat (16) takes the form of a raised annular surface with a radius (r) in which the sealing ring (18) extends tangentially to the radius (r).
