The holder (1) provides releasable securing of the information board on parallel rods of a grill, such as a sales shelf. It has two parallel spaced holding elements (2,3) with the second one (3) elongated and narrower then the grill rod spacing but longer than the latter. The rod spacing is less than the rod thickness. Thus the holder can be anchored in the grill after passing the second element through the grill and turing about an axis orthogonal to the holding elements. The front side (6) of at least one element has a fastener for the information board etc.
