The disc (3) joined centrally to a hollow cylindrical current connection piece (2) has three uniformly distributed arcuate gaps (5) each following approximately the periphery of the disc from a tangential outer gap (6) to an inner gap (7) curved towards and through the cylinder wall. Current paths between the gaps open into winding sections (4) with surfaces conductively joined to a contact and electrode disc (8) giving optimum magnetisation and current-carrying capacity. The surfaces of the discs (3, 8) re sepd. by a shim (9) and a ceramic or stainless steel plate (10).
