<p>PURPOSE:To make the sheet supply device possible to steadily supply sheets even when many sheets are inserted into a sheet-supplying position at a time by providing notches in the portions of a sheet-introducing member corresponding to pressure bar springs. CONSTITUTION:When a number of copies 6 are set at a time, the tip of the copies 6 strikes pressure bar springs 3, and the copies are stopped at a position above the tip-edge of a sheet introducing member 5. In this instance, the copies 6 are pressed against a sheet supply roller 2 by the pressure bar springs 3 with the sheet-introducing member 5 between. However, when the sheet- introducing member 5 is provided with notches 7 at its parts corresponding to the pressure bar springs 3, the copies 6 directly strikes and contacts the outer peripheral surface of the sheet supply roller 2 at the position of the notches 7. Therefore, when the sheet supply roller 2 is rotated, the copies 6 are supplied by the sheet supply roller 2 and steadily fed.</p> |
